Amnesia

Leila, a Franco-Iraqi filmmaker, victim of traumatic amnesia following an accident, returns to France and Belgium, after twenty years of exile and denial, to investigate the loss of memory: her own and that of others.
Through her meetings with victims of amnesia, exile or violence, and her discussions with specialists, she seeks to understand the mechanisms of memory and forgetfulness, and comes to see, in artistic activity and exchanges with others, the ways of reconciliation with oneself.
