Red Mercury

In the heart of a bucolic Condorz village, the murder of a Flemish engineer unexpectedly shatters the winter gloom of ordinary people. A young farmer and part-time local constable, Rémi Pirson, leads a parallel investigation that proves more perceptive than that of the local and even federal police. And to top it all off, he has the help of a disillusioned ex-cop and a former prima ballerina to whom he has never dared confess his feelings. Together, they discover that the victim has a web of lies behind her, and that many secrets lie buried in this Belgian hamlet. When the culprit is unmasked, the village will never be the same again...
