| Synopsis | In 1950, when Baudouin became head of the Belgian state, the former regent of the kingdom, Charles of Belgium, retired to Raversijde to his estate in the dunes. No tribute was ever paid to him for his services to the dynasty. Hurt, misunderstood and ostracized from the royal family, Charles remains forever the man who ‘saved the brol’ in Belgium. |
